WHAT WOULD IT COST ME TO PUBLISH MY WORK?
It is difficult to get an exact price to self-publish a manuscript without first seeing it or having the book specifications on hand. Please contact us in order to give us these specifications. We will then reply with a quote.

WHAT DO OUR SERVICES INCLUDE?
The price includes the following:

Extensive Edit - Our editing department will give your manuscript a thorough edit, which will be sent back to you for approval of changes.

Cover Design - Whether you supply us with the artwork, advise us about the type of cover you would like or let us go ahead and design a cover that we feel will do your book justice, you are sure to have an eye-catching and professional cover. We are fully aware of the importance that a good cover can have on the success of a book, so we take great effort to make sure that each cover is done to the best of our ability.

Typesetting/Layout - We create an attractive interior design, matched to your book's message. We professionally typeset and layout the book.

Register Your Book - We will register your book and obtain the necessary ISBN No. (International Standard Book Number). Have the ISBN Number converted to barcode for the back cover.

Copyright - We will detail the copyright for you.

Review - A proof of the cover and each page, exactly as it will appear in the finished book will be sent to you before going into print. This will enable you to see precisely what it will look like and give you the opportunity to review it one final time.

Printing Your Book - We will take care of all the printing details of your new book.

Marketing your book
We will supply you with a Marketing Assistance Package which will include:

Media - We will include a list of newspapers, magazines and radio stations in S.A for you to send your book to for review purposes.
Overseas - We will include a list of publishers and literary agents in the United Kingdom, America and Australia that could be interested in your type of book. Sending a completed and attractive book to them will have a much greater impact than sending only the usual typed manuscript.
Bookstores - We give you a detailed contact list of all the major bookstores in S.A. This will contain names of stores, addresses, telephone and fax numbers, as well as the name of the person you should see. Experience has shown that the most successful route to get your book into as many outlets as possible, is to market it yourself, as no one will be quite as passionate about it as you.
Distributing your book - If you do not have the time, we will give you details of several distributors in S.A or we could negotiate to have it included in our distribution list.
Libraries - We give you a list of hundreds of libraries in South Africa to contact and market your book to.

For Overseas authors - We can tailor-make a package to assist you with marketing.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY WORK IS WORTH PUBLISHING?

We do offer a separate Review Service. If you decide that you would like an "honest" opinion about your work before publishing, we will forward a few chapters your manuscript to an Independent Editor. This review service is free. However we can also offer you an in-depth edit which will entail a fee depending on the size of your manuscript and they will go through your manuscript and give you valuable opinions and ideas (from an outsider's point of view).
